The Brubaker Family

The Brubaker Family

President Brubaker and I are excited to be here as the Mission President and companion of the Belgium Brussels Netherlands Mission! We love your sons and daughters, and feel to thank you for the wonderful missionaries you have raised! This is a very unique mission. Our mission includes two countries, and five languages, not including many dialects spoken in the Netherlands. The missionaries are teaching many people from all around the globe. With the help of the Spirit, the missionaries are finding those who have been prepared to receive the Gospel. This is truly the best mission in the world, and we are honored to be a part of it. We will try and take good care of your sons and daughters. We love them so much already!

We have 5 children and 11 wonderful grand children. We have so much fun together! We are grateful for the support they have given us as we prepared to leave for three years. Our home is in Salt Lake City, Utah. We have raised our family in the Millcreek Holladay area. We enjoy many activities together. We are happiest when we are hiking in Southern Utah, cross-country skiing into our rustic cabin in the Uintahs, enjoying a good game of Train or Settlers of Catan, or just being together and sharing a meal with each other. We love our family so much!!!

Office Elders-The French and the Dutch Make a Great Team

Our French office elders have been training our new Dutch elders this last transfer. they have had tremendous transfer together! We will be sad to lose Elder Ferguson and Elder Schmutz! They have been so helpful in the office! We had a great visit with them as we were able to dedicate their apartment.
This apartment is just around the corner form the mission office-so convienient! It is one of our nicest apartments in the mission!

The apartment has been well maintained over the years, and it was inspiring to read motivating thoughts and scriptures that have blessed this apartment for many years. Thanks to the missionaries that have made this a home where the spirit can dwell

  1. So glad to see the send off of Elders Schmutz and Ferguson from the good old BBN...was sorry that I couldn't see any pictures of the departure of our son, Elder Simonson to the new Mission Home in Paris. I know he was very close to Pres. and Sis. Brubaker, and it was a hard move for him. I will miss not seeing his pictures here, but thank you for taking such good care of him while he was there and for letting us see him frequently while he served with Pres. Brubaker. I hope he left a lasting and good impression with you all...he dearly misses the BBN...but as always, is glad to serve the Lord wherever he is called.
