Yvonne van den Berg was met by Elder Davies and Elder Ellsworth last February. She loved the Book of Mormon and was excited to learn, but wanted to take a little more time. Yvonne stayed involved with the church, visiting the Young Adult Center and spending time with the young adults. That is where the sisters met her. After spending a week at a young single adult’s camp and attending church, Yvonne was ready to take the step of baptism. Every week she would have a list of scriptures and questions ready so that she could feel prepared. The young adults in the stake helped to answer all of her questions and to overcome her concerns. Yvonne is already a missionary as she shares the gospel with everyone she meets. She told us that the gospel has helped her to find peace, more self confidence, and a better relationship with her Heavenly Father. Yvonne was baptized on the 22nd of October, 2011 and she is already preparing to go the temple. Yvonne is already amazingly strong and we are excited to see her grow even closer to Christ and to her Heavenly Father!!
