Henry Nwafor, February 19, Rotterdam North
Elder Van De Graaff, Henry Nwafor, Sharlon Martes and Elder Ellis
Henry is a miracle. This story starts long before the Sunday that Henry walked into church. His neighbor in Nigeria would invite Henry to come to church. Henry never felt the need. He would postpone the invitation and never ended up going. Yet, he had always remembered the impression that his friend gave him. He had something different. When Henry moved to the Netherlands he was searching for true happiness. He remembered the good example that his friend had given him. He looked up the church address on the internet and got a friend to drive him there. The building was closed. So he came back again on Christmas at the supposed start time, yet again it was closed. "What kind of church is closed on Christmas," he thought, but Henry wouldn´t lose faith. The following Sunday he came again, there he came into contact with the missionaries, and nothing could stop him from following his Savior´s example and being baptized. "There was something missing in my life, but when I found this church that hole was filled."
